Dr Nick Capstick OBE

Biography

Until December 2022 Dr Nicholas Capstick OBE was CEO and founding trustee of the White Horse Federation multi-academy trust. He grew the trust from three schools in 2012 to over thirty two schools by 2022. 

The trust specialised in working with schools in mainly disadvantaged areas reflecting both urban and rural deprivation and had a distinct mission to focus on improving the life chances of disengaged, disenfranchised and traditionally hard-to-reach pupils and their families. Dr Capstick is particularly passionate about equality and diversity in schools and learning communities and is currently working as an Independent Chair of The School Food Reform Working group which consists of 30+ food charities, educational groups, food producers and suppliers who are all campaigning to achieve a hot nutritious lunch for all school children in England.
